I mostly agreed on the option that was said by bryan, christina, and raven that in a childhood start we do not know much about the world and in the sense that we are evil is by life experience and by whom we are been raised by. because as infants does not come out off the womb thinking I'm going to kill someone in 10 years from know. pretty much our knowledge is as we grow old.
I would like to add more to my comment. As i was saying I believe that infants do not come out off the womb with a evil mind set. also, our life experience does make an affect to us. if a child experiences domestic violence, in the long run he or she will be traumatized. so, in their mind set hitting will be a solution to their problems. when of course it isn't. from my perspective, human nature is not evil. evil is what we make by our actions, decisions, and most importantly our experiences. Pretty much our three classmates pointed out knowledgeable thoughts.
They say human nature is a way of thinking. We are all born innocent, even the bad is born good. Human nature is developed by time and is developed by what is around us. Everyone is born an angel and we have control of that. We can eduacate ourselves and choose a good or bad foundation. They say human nature is good. I say, human nature can be what we make out of it. If we are influenced by good, it is good. If we are influenced by bad, it is bad. I agree when they say human nature can be controlled by the way we educate ourselves. We are born good and it is up to us if we want to keep it like that or not.
According to my religious beliefs I believe every person is born with a bad human nature. We are born sinners although some may develop the acknowledgement of bad intentions until a certain age. Some people are exposed to evil actions when they are small making them grow and develop by doing that same bad action, or having a reflex to the action they have witnessed. I have always believed every person has had something tragically bad happen to them, and it is up to this person to either grow, and change good, or let this bad thing that has occurred in their life effect them in a bad way. Human nature is bad and one can be strong enough to overcome all the evil ways, or let it swallow them up.
The speakers in the class said that human nature is a way of thinking and people were born innocent. They believe that we are all good people when we just come out of womb. And they also believed that human nature depends on how people develop. It also depends on environment, age and so on.
I agree most of their opinions that human nature is essentially good when we just born in this world. I believed human nature is developed. It constantly changes during different period of time because we will meet various people in different environments and have different experience in different time. Education is important factor that affects human nature. If a person does not get education or goes through a lot of bad things in his life, his nature probably becomes evil. In contrast, if a person learns a lot positive things, his nature becomes good.
I'm agree with the idea that says that as we grow, we can be good or bad depending on life experiences. Some people grow up seeing violence, problems with the family or other people around them, and this lead to grow with a bad mindset, thinking that life is as bad as their experiences, so they keep doing the same bad things they have experienced and that automatically lead them to be bad persons.
In my religion, there are beliefs that says people are born with both good and bad sides. However, as you grow older you choose your own path and your future depends on what you've done in the past, what you're doing right now, and what you will do in the future. One speaker said that we are born both good side and the bad side by genetics. And I'd like to say that's not true. There's also a belief that said that we have our previous lives and our current life depends on what we did in the past. Genetics has nothing to do with that. However, as that speaker said we can develop ourselves as we grow older. We can still choose to be good and lead a good life. Even if you are borne with a evil side, you can still think and try to be good as possible. There are people out there for example who're serial killers before but became a priest. So, I say human nature can be either good or bad. We are born with both the good and evil and we can develop to either side to which we want to be.
I think that human nature can be said to be good or bad. Humanity is a birth is good, but with the environment and age and family education under the influence of human nature will tend to be good or bad. For example, in a family of teachers and family education, family education out of human nature will be very good circumstances, gang family education out of human nature in most cases will become bad.
I believe that there is more evil than good in human nature. The society we live in is a perfect example to show that humans are selfish and ambitious rather than good. When we are born our first instinct is to survive no matter. I agree with Nicole because in my catholic religion the whole purpose of a baptism for a child is to take away the sins. Therefore, a child isn’t born into the world being pure and good. I also slightly agree with the presentations on the idea that as we grow we pick up our habits based on the environment around us. As children our guardians correct us from our bad intentions or reward us for our good. I believe this is how good nature exists in people, only because it is something that is taught to us. After all we descend from animals it is in our nature to kill for survival if necessary and be ambitious. No one is pure good, everyone has some bad nature in them.
According to those speakers, they believe that humans are basically good and people are born blameless. In addition, they think that human nature is developed by different elements. I agree that people are good by nature but corrupted by society. When people are born, they are like white papers, which don't have any sordid characteristic. However, when people grow up, they would contact different people, things and environments. Those experiences impact their nature and develop their unique characteristics. I agree that education can impact our nature. However, family is the most important factor that affects human nature. Parents have primary responsibility to teach values and norm to their children. Children will learn everything from their parents. Therefore, parents must be a good model to their children. In this relationship, children’s nature will develop and is affected by parent. Finally I believe that human is basically good. However, people nature will be affected by everything around them and will make people to become good or bad.
I mostly agree with the speakers presented in class that human is born with innocent. They believe that how human nature develop, into good or bad, is influenced by the environment, education, age, experience and also society.
In my religion, we always believe that human is born good. When babies originally come to this world, they are angels, they are good. At the same time, their human nature is constantly changed by time. Especially influenced by the people around them, parents, teachers, sibling, even neighbors. What I want to add is that although we always consider education can change a people, especially children. However the world we live in today is changing, sometime it doesn't fit with the idea we learn from books. It's selfish, and sometimes ugly.It has war and crime, not always peace and kind. So we can not only blame the parents when their children getting bad, but also the society and media, as the world today is hard to believe. But I still believe that if a person can get positive thinking from their parents or people around them, they can control what they want to believe and what they want to do.
There is no perfect person in the world but my believe is that everyone was born free of sin, because of course, when you are a baby, you don't do anything wrong. But I believe that human are not essentially good or bad, but rather both. Every Human has their mistakes no matter how hard a person tries.I believe that humans are also bad those are the mistakes they made that would cause God to be angry. Therefore, humans are a little bit of both. To determine a person whether he/she is good or bad, there are so many reasons to influence such as their family, education and background. So thus we are not perfect human beings. It is what we do to ourselves once we start thinking for ourselves and we know what's going on in our environment, except for when we were young and told what to do. I don' t believe that personalities of human beings are naturally bad unless they were educated in that way, but in that situation, it is considered acquired influences.
When we were born, we were taught to behave in a manner to learn self-discipline. Disciplined to sustain the urge to harm another upon hatred, to steal upon greed, and to escape upon desire. Discipline that kept our society on progression, and kept the human race thrived in peace. We were taught from being bad to good. We are able endure discipline, to respect others among us, and to work in unity. In such society, there is evil. Evil is the result of discipline failure, and these people are more likely to breed more of their kinds. Without knowing the concept of discipline, infants were taught from being bad to evil. Humans breed good and evil, but we were never born bad.

I think that we are all born pure and free of sin. When we're born, all that matters to us is how to survive, none of us really think about doing malicious things towards others. However once we start to grow we decide the type of person we become. We are all affected by personal experiences, the area we grow up in, and many more aspects which shape the type of person we grow into. None of us are perfect but we do decide the type of person we become by the choices we make in life, weather they be good or bad choices.
I think human beings born without anything, they are just like a piece of white paper and wait other people such as their parents to write something on it. And their human nature is developed during their growth. Most of their nature is unconsciously influenced by where they live, who they meet and what happened in their life. When babies are born into the world, they don’t which one is good and which one is bad. They just learn to imitate others to talk, eat, sleep and walk. People who round them teach them which things we can do or we can’t do and what kind of things are good or not. With time goes on, we have our own human nature which is based on what we learned during our growth. However, some of their human nature might change due to some special things happen in their life (they almost die in a situation or their closest people do something bad that hurt them etc.). Therefore, I don’t believe that a person is born bad or good. People are just born with nothing and their human nature is developed during their rest of life. We can’t judge a person is completely good or bad. A bad person might do something good and a good person also do some bad things.
Naturally, I believe that humans are born good and innocent even though some traits can be passed down hereditarily, but we are all capable of evil things. A strong set of moral values are placed in us as we grow up, they are taught to us through family/friends raising us and I believe that is how we stay good. But that isn't always the case, sometimes it just takes one little push in the wrong direction and card castle starts crumbling down. This can happen by shear bad luck. Then we start heading down this downward spiral and who knows where we will end up.
Human nature can be seen as a way of thinking but it also has a lot to do with our actions. Human nature is both good and bad but it depends on the path you decide to take that shows which one over powers the other. No one is born evil, every baby is born pure and free of sin but once brought into the world that is when they face challenges of choosing the right path. Human nature I would say is developed over time due to the person's surrounding and their environment. Everyone makes mistakes at times but depending on how you reflect on it makes or breaks a persons character which is vital to the human nature we all have. Depending on the path we choose to follow as humans, whether it be good or bad causes the choices we make that set our life, only this is caused by the individual which reflects that person and their natured created by themselves.
As most of my classmates I believe that the human nature is born good and clear of sin. We are all born innocent and with the same opportunity to be a good and respectful human being. Though I do believe that we all suffer from different good and circumstances in life. Many, if not most of us will have traumatizing life events that will either make us stronger and wiser or just kill our good beliefs and destroy our sense of being compassion towards others. I think we all believe on the phrase, "Only the strong will survive." But I think sometimes we this into the wrong definition. Like for example thinking that we have to destroy our peers in order to move up and succeed when in reality I believe that we are much stronger when we are all fighting together.
Therefore I believe that the bad inside us is developed as we grow into our personality. We can get influenced by the wrong people or sometimes even our close family can influence us in the wrong way. I also think that ignorance takes a big role on our bad actions. We might believe that what we are doing is okay, but in reality we might be hurting ourselves and other people. Like for example in cities with higher rate of poverty usually have more crimes and I believe that that is usually do to the lack of education and ignorance.
Human nature is something human beings are born with, but not preconceived before birth. I would define human nature as our habits, traditions, and beliefs that are formed throughout life, and the question of it being good or bad falls in the same category of something that is being developed. The argument regarding the theory of genetics does not fall into play when questioning a person’s human nature. One huge reason being that human nature is constantly changing. There can always be a moment in someone’s life that completely rewrites how they see a certain aspect in life and changes the way they see it. There is no solid, stone tablet or piece of paper evidence that says “Our parents are like this, so you must be too."
Human nature is not something that we are born with but it is something that is we learn throughout our lives and as we grow and thrive. Human nature can be influenced by several causes such as culture, traditions, rules that we are taught as we grow older, unspoken mannerisms that we learn from our parents, and etc. What determines our human nature from having it be good or bad is entirely up to is and our choice, to be good or bad. It is how we react to situations, crisis, or the bumps in life that can shape us into who we are, and what defines us as good or bad, or who we are. As we are born, our life begins, and as we make our choices in life, to what we learn to like and not like, what our preferences are, whoever we choose to be, that is learned, and the mark of our human nature is shown through the actions that we make.
I agree with my classmates that when you and presented the question the nature of humanity depends on your culture or how you were raised growing up. Being bad or good is something we choose to be not something that chooses us. I say you tend to become bad or evil around your teenage years when your mind is more developed, when you are able to understand what really is being good or bad.
Human nature is not something we are born with. I believe that human nature is developed as we age and what we experience throughout life. As we age, we face a variety of different and difficult obstacles in life. It all depends on the type of mindset, the type of parenting, the type of people we hangout with, type of religion, and etc. Mistakes are unavoidable in which everyone experiences once in their life. However, our human nature, whether good or bad, is based upon our own decisions on which we decide the type of path we want to end up going through.
Human nature is something we learn, not born with. I think that human nature is developed by experience and observation. What shapes our human nature is how we are raised and the experiences we've had. We react and think a certain way because of results from those past experiences. Human nature is indifferent, neither good or bad. It is something everyone has and we use it everyday in the decisions we make.
I believe human nature is morally good although through development it can change either to good or bad. The environment and the way people are raised are major contributing factors that can affect a human beings perspective on life. I agree with the presenter that people are influenced by many things life such as friends, mentors, family, media, to name a few. I feel as if most humans have a conscious that tells them the difference between good and bad decisions.
