Good choice with Peter Abrahams! Have you read his Echo Falls Mysteries for middle school kids? They're among my favorite to recommend at the library for kids in that age group. A good strong girl protagonist - you'd believe that Abrahams had been a thirteen-year-old girl at some point. Thanks for an interesting newsletter.
