I think of communication as an exchange of ideas or thoughts. Conveying your idea to another person (or persons) is only the beginning. Listening is an important part of communication - the part we often neglect.

communication is one important skill in life that many of us have forgotten. it is easier to send a text or call and yes there are some benefits about technology, but we can't communicate better than in person. Communication is important because you learn a lot about someone by taking the time and hanging out in person. Communicating in person reminds us that we are human.
