Was the header meant to be titled without an "a" and an "i"? Just asking..

Anyway, I would define communicating as relaying thoughts to someone else with the purpose of having mutual understanding on a subject. With technology, wireless information has decreased the wasted time in physically delivering messages and has given us more time to do something of more worth, including being with family, relaxing our bodies and minds, and sharpening our skills. Though technology have gradually replaced the traditional means of communicating (i.e. mail, word-of-mouth, etc.),it does not fail to serve its purpose of passing opinions to another or to everyone.

As someone who uses technology for almost everything in my life, I believe that everyone should be responsible in reading or writing whatever they read or wrote on the Internet. Being aware of who will see our posts, videos, and pictures is the simplest way in becoming a responsible netizen. We will never know how far the ripples of our digital actions will affect people in and out of the virtual world.

I think of communication as an exchange of ideas or thoughts. Conveying your idea to another person (or persons) is only the beginning. Listening is an important part of communication - the part we often neglect.

Great question.

communication is one important skill in life that many of us have forgotten. it is easier to send a text or call and yes there are some benefits about technology, but we can't communicate better than in person. Communication is important because you learn a lot about someone by taking the time and hanging out in person. Communicating in person reminds us that we are human.
